David E. Little to Step Down as International Center of Photography Executive Director, ICP Trustee, Bob Jeffrey, Named CEO

NEW YORK, NY (February 27, 2024) – The International Center of Photography (ICP) announced today that David E. Little has stepped down from his position of Executive Director and taken on the role of Senior Advisor to the Board. ICP Trustee Bob Jeffrey has been named CEO.

ICP thanks David for all of his contributions to our organization. During his time at ICP, David successfully settled the center in its new downtown location on the Lower East Side, led the creation of a Board-approved three-year strategic plan, and raised the public profile of ICP domestically and internationally.

“We are deeply grateful for David’s leadership and dedication to advancing ICP’s mission, ” said Jeffrey Rosen, President, ICP Board of Directors. “To ensure seamless stewardship of the organization until a permanent Executive Director is named, the Board has appointed Bob Jeffrey, ICP Trustee, CEO. We wish David the best in his future endeavors, and thank Bob for stepping in and guiding the team through this transition.”

Bob Jeffrey is the former Chairman and CEO of J. Walter Thompson, which was the fourth largest advertising agency in the world, often referred to as “the billion dollar start up” because of its successful track record in winning new business all over the world. Jeffrey is known in the industry as the “Creative CEO” because of his track record in leading development of award-winning creative work. Jeffrey has also been very committed to philanthropy, currently on the Board of the NYC Sanitation Foundation and has previously served on the Boards of the Bob Woodruff Foundation and La Salle Academy in his hometown of Providence, Rhode Island.
