Public Program Attendance Policies

ICP

Ticketing

For most public programs advanced registration is encouraged.

General Admission and member tickets for paid and online public programs can be purchased online or at the visitor experience desk.

For ticket holders for in-person events, seating is on a first come, first-serve basis.

For paid and suggested donation public programs, admission into the galleries is not included.

ICP members have access to preferred seating in our reserved members’ section.

For in person sold out public programs, non-ticket holders (walk-ins) are accepted five minutes prior to the program start time, if capacity allows.

Visiting the Galleries

Last entry into the galleries is at 6:15 PM, with the exception of Late Night ICP on Thursdays, where last entry is at 8:15 PM.

For those not visiting the galleries, seating in the library will begin fifteen minutes before the program start time. Ticket holders will line up on Floor 1 by the cafe before entry.

Safety

To safely enjoy our space, read our visitor information including updated information on our COVID-19 Safety Guidelines and Policies.

Accessibility

ICP strives to make our public programs accessible to all. ICP’s galleries, program area, and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. Live closed captioning is offered at our online programs. For questions regarding accessibility, please contact us at programs@icp.org.

Program Changes

We do our best to keep listings as up-to-date as possible, but sometimes last-minute program changes are unavoidable. We thank you for your understanding and recommend you visit the event page prior to attending a program for the most up to date information.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of a public program cancellation, registrants will be notified via the email they registered with. The program event page will also be updated with cancellation information. While we make every effort to contact you in the event of a cancellation, that is not always possible. We recommend you visit the event page prior to attending a program for the most up to date information.

Recording Policies

When recorded, public programs are archived through on-site video and photographic recording for possible inclusion in marketing and promotional communications. By remaining in the immediate vicinity during in-person public programs, you are hereby giving your consent to videotape, record, and redistribute your picture, likeness, voice, and statements. Online programs do not record the audience.

Archival Video Access

When recorded, public programs are available to the public through the program event page. Visit https://www.icp.org/center-for-visual-culture to view seasonal lists of past public programs offered. If a video is available, it will be linked at the top of the individual event page for that program.
