Open Education Courses and Workshops

Refund Policy

Students are responsible for their course choices. We recommend that you select your courses carefully. Staff are available to assist students with class placement or to answer any course related questions. In the event that you must withdraw or transfer from a course, the following policies will be in effect:

Transfer Policies:
A $25 nonrefundable fee will be charged for all transfers initiated by a student. All transfer requests must be submitted via email to withdrawals@icp.edu. Transfers may take place any time before a course begins. Any discrepancy with tuition balance due to a student transfer request must be settled within 48 hours for the transfer to be valid.

For courses scheduled for a time period longer than two weeks, a transfer may take place after the first class session and before the second class session.

Students are permitted one transfer per registration. All transfers must occur within the same term.

Withdrawal and Refund Polices
Refund and withdrawal requests must be sent to withdrawals@icp.edu. The date the email is sent will determine eligibility for a refund. All approved refunds take at least four weeks to process. ICP cannot be responsible for providing refunds for classes or programs missed as a result of student illness, student emergencies, or circumstances beyond ICP's control.

All withdrawal requests initiated by the student are subject to a $55 withdrawal fee, which will be deducted from the total refund amount.

Refund Eligibility:
Students may be eligible for the following refunds based on the timing of their withdrawal:
  • 100% Refund:
Withdrawals made five business days or more before the first day of the course are eligible for a 100% refund. The withdrawal fee of $55 will still apply.

  • 50% Refund:
For courses scheduled for a time period longer than two weeks, students may receive a 50% refund for withdrawals made after the first class session and before the second class session. The withdrawal fee of $55 will still apply.

Please note that any withdrawal requests made after the second class session will not be eligible for a refund.

Class Policies

Schedule Changes: During the term, a class meeting may need to be re-scheduled. A make-up class will be scheduled during the term or added to the end of the course.
